I dont have any flushing advise, other then just use water, and pay attention to the coolant requirements based on your manual. Two bit's of advise i do have, based on changeing my 05's coolant a week ago. First, if the 06' radiator petcock is the same as my 05', be careful. I turned the petcock on mine one full turn, and it was slow to drain. Got back under there and turned another full turn and it got much quicker, but the backup nut inside the rad came off. . After fixing that pain in the ***** i started the flushing procedure. Long story short, be cautious of air pockets in the coolant system. This truck was the worst of anything i have ever owned about getting air out of the system. . I mean anything! It is time to do the coolant flush on my '06, while I am in there I am going to replace the hoses and thermostat and I am wondering if any one has any good recommendations for a coolant as well as flushing the block??
