Don't have my manual handy, what's the recommended change out on coolant hoses in these 3rd gens?

I like to prevent things so, about 5 yrs im changing mine... ..... they should be good for a lot longer than that... . just like my batteries, i change every 3 yrs, no matter what... .

I checked in the manual and could not find a recommended replacement interval for the hoses. The only thing I could find was: "Components should be replaced immediately if there is any evidence of wear or damage that could cause failure". I put new ones on mine at 5 years (75k miles) and kept the old ones for spares. Ed B

Thanks.

This is what I remembered also... mine look and feel fine, but I'm sitting with 245k on the clock and they are nearly eight years old. The coolant was flushed a few years back with a failed water pump.

Hmm, the dilemma. I either got to change the fitting in the water pump housing to match that at the fire wall, or buy the lines that go under the exhaust manifold since they aren't available in the aftermarket.
