Coolant leak, is this normal

My truck is starting to leak coolant around the ex. manifold and around the valve cover. There is also a buildup of white old looking dried up fluid remains. Is this normal, should I worry?

Although I wouldn't worry, I'd suggest checking the torque on the allen-head plugs along the exhaust side of the engine. If it's really seeping slowly it may seal itself.

Ditto- what Ryan said, all of mine were very loose.

Ditto here too. Mine decided to start leaking at 50K miles.

I had one showing signs of a small seepage, fixed it, keeping a check on the rest of them.

Yep tighten 'em down, but don't apply too much torque. Mebbe something around 15-20 ft/lbs.
