I got this leak under my truck right where my rear main seal used to leak. I am not sure where it is coming from, but it looked like it is coming from those lines that run from the transmission and cross under the transmission and go up to to the passenger side the engine. I have to check it out a little more. Any help.

Something that I use to help me find a leak is baby powder. Just squirt it all over. The leak will jump out at you. Black for oil and Green for coolant.

Sounds wierd but it works.

Sounds like it may be the cooler that is mounted on the passenger side of the engine toward the rear. It sits about half way up the side of the engine. That is the black round object about 3" in diameter and about 12" long. (I didn't measure, just guessing from memory) Take a hard look at this area, they have been known to leak.

I had that round thing in mind when I saw it was coolant. It looks like the coolant follows the one line down and then skips over onto the trans housing and drips on the ground at the inspection cover. It isn't a major problem yet, but I took notice to it when I parked on the pavement.

I also have a coolant leak. I just noticed it after flushing my cooling system and adding CAT long life coolant. It looks like it is leaking from the vacuum operated "canister" on one of the heater hoses on the passenger side of the engine. Anyone else had this problem? Any idea how much one of these is to replace? Definitely an easy fix, just hope it doesn't cost too much.
