Coolant On The Head

Anyone have an extra light socket?

Saw something interesting on a friends truck tonight when we went to change his exhaust manifold. There was a bit of coolant on the top of the head between #5 and #6. He said it usually stays wet with coolant there. Radiator is full, and the oil is clean. Anyone have and ideas about where it's coming from?
 
Pull that head bolt out and put some RTV on it and see if that cures it.



I have seen gassers with weeping head bolts.
 
That looks like one of those freeze plug type thingies on the head. Not to say it ISNT a weeping head bolt, but it looks like it is in that little dished area.

I thought that looked like a freeze plug. I'm going to try and clean it up today, and if it is a freeze plug u'll knock it out and get a new one.
