I'm in the process of converting my truck to run on veggy oil . I need to tap into the coolant out of the block . Alot use the coolant from the heater core , I see that the heater core line comes out of a tap on the block .

There are a few plugs that are off the block , can I pull one off these plugs and draw coolant from these?

Is that a no? Id rather not loose the cab heat .

I've been studying this truck and the vp-44 for months , its been done sucessfuly by people already , one guy who drags at 900hp or something crazy like that . No one is likey to change my mind . :)

If you think you have any useful information though please share .

There are a few plugs right near where the heater core pipe hooks to the top of the head. About halfway down the valve cover on the left side (looking at it) is a plug you can use.

I use 30% veggie that is mixed and filtered to mix with diesel and I don't use a heater... . The DSE Method works well... . But if the veggie is warm, then it will work it just has to be that then start and shut down with diesel on a switch.
