Cooler reccomendations.

I am going to have to replace the intercooler on my 04. 5, It is full of ex turbo compressor wheel parts. Who makes a really good aftermarket cooler, that is efficent and priced right? Also going to need pistons,rings and a good charger. I had a Garrett S-300 and it seemed to work really good.

I replaced my CAC with a Duralite http://www.duralite.net/content/dura-lite™-evolution®-charge-air-coolers I don't know where they are available in your area. They are made in Calgary AB. David

The Banks scientific testing showed the AFE cooled the most and flowed well. I saw the AFE test stand where they cycled hi pressure through it for days with out issue. the pressure used and the cycling made some wild noise that rang through the building

While in general I am NOT a fan of BD products, their intercooler uses an extruded tube design which has distinct advantages over other intercoolers.
And while I am also not generally a fan of Banks products, their intercooler is very well designed and finished.
Mishimoto also makes very well designed and finished intercoolers... they are in the proces of designing and testing a new one for the cummins.
If I ever needed to replace my oem aluminum intercooler, I would be forced to choose betweeen those three manufacturers.
