I'd say, "no, not normal". My copper has been running 3 ppm on two previous oil samples with over 10k on oil; was only 1 ppm with 5k on oil after adding a bypass filter.
I'd review what work you've recently done or had done; any gasket sealants involved? Any chance for contamination of the sample by the way you took it (copper drain plug washer, for example)? Any recent work that involved twisting on copper connections that see oil, like installing a cooler or new line? Also call the lab and discuss with them in more detail. They will provide additional customer service by answering questions on your abnormal results.
