Briggs & Stratton Connecting rods

6BT engine stand

My Craftsman cordless screwdriver finally bit the dust.

I need variable or at least 2 speed that bends in the middle.

Any recommendations?

I put my vote in for Milwaukee :) Scored an older 12v variable 1/2" that has the magnesium case, standard red plastic handle, quick change chuck, charger, and two batteries for a song at a pawn shop. One of my most used and favorite tools. :D

Here are a few with cords. .

Thought I would post back what I was able to dig up-

This MAC Tool unit is small for dash work, 2 speed 180/360 rpm at 4. 8v and looks like the one I will give a try.

Milwaukee has

this one that bends in the middle to make it smaller, 2 speed 200/400 rpm at 2. 4v and was a close runner up.

Black & Decker has this one 2 speed 180/600 rpm at 6v. The 6 volt and 600 rpm is enticing but its size makes under dash work questionable.

I did look at Snap-On but the current model didn't size up too well on this kind of item.

Back a few lifetimes when I was pounding nails I was given the nickname "AM Slim" by a pardner carpenter. Alwas had to have the AM blaring R&R - the louder the better, the faster the beat the faster I cranked. :-laf

Thankfully, the Lord got a holt of this fool in time. ;)
