OK, I am no ,newbie' but after 265K (kilometres), it is time to do the clutch in the ole girl...I bought a bunch of GL4 for the last service, but would like to know what really has worked. Remember, I am in Germany, so ,Red Line' and Amsol' are not options...Thanks for the help. Jonathan

The OEM fill is Castrol Syntorq. Might be able to cross reference it there.

LiquiMoly is a great oil, as is Fuchs and the other European companies. You're probably fine with your choice.

I have used Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90 GL-4 rating for the majority of my 220,000 miles. My transmission is the original untouched transmission. It's only been out of the truck at 180,000 miles when I had the first clutch replaced. I use it routinely to tow an 11,000 pound fifth wheel.

I use to only run the OEM oil from dodge I still had snychro issues even running the high dollar synchros from quad 4x4 . I've since switched to shell 75 90 and both trucks shift better than with the OEM oil
