I recently installed Hankook Dynapro ATM 285 70R 17 on my 04 shortbed 4x4.

Has anyone actually weighed a similar truck for front and rear weights, then reviewed a tire load table to get the correct inflation pressure?

thanks,

Tom

Heres a a couple lines from a load table for Toyo Open Country AT--

---Tire Size-------Pressure (PSI)--------35----40----45----50----55----60----65-------70---75----80

LT285/75R17 128S E/10 34X11.5R17 2215 2430 2640 2835 2955 3075 3195 (D) 3595 3775 3970 (E)
LT285/70R17 126S E/10 33X11.5R17 2105 2315 2510 2755 (C) 2890 3070 3195 (D) 3415 3525 3750 (E)

My truck wieghs 8200# unloaded with driver and dog (lol) and I do NOT like to run less then 47 psi in any of the tires because they feel squirrellier to me when driving. That beign said, I still ALWAYS wear centers first, which IS a sign of overinflation, even at 47 psi!!

DISCLAIMER: PLEASE contact Hankook for a load table for your EXACT tires, though I'd imagine they would be similar for an E rated tire of the same size.
