What is the easiest way to get a ton of smoke? What is the most cost effective way to get lots of smoke? I just am having to many bad drivers behind me who want to see smoke rolling out of the stacks! :)

Most cost effective way would be to loosen the clamps on the intercooler lines to loose ECM generated boost while actually fueling. Of course that is also pretty inefficient on the power also. HOT Juice/Attitude and EZ stack on mine will smoke an intersection close to a 12v. The Bully Dog Triple Dog Crazy Larry on mine almost produces as much smoke as the Juice/EZ stack. I am sure that the TST PowerMaxCR has enough settings that you could produce smoke on demand with over fueling.

If you really want smoke and no power lose?? Install a orficed fitting in the exhaust behind the turbo and plumb in a electric fuel pump that you can turn on from the cab, hook up to a small fuel tank ( like a outboard boat tank ) filled with kerosene, diesel, waste oil, etc. . You will have to play with it and adjust your orifice accordingly ( drilling it out ). You will get enough smoke to close a highway if you want!!!

Hoefler that is hilarious! I might have to try this, does anybody know anyone who has actually done this? Or who might have some pictures?

Where would a good place to look for an orfice? Would you have to mount it right in the down pipe? or could I put it post cat so I don't have to cut my cat out? I am sure that cat would literally die if I put the fitting pre cat and didn't remove the cat.

Sorry guys, just got back from Talladega. :-laf

It should be after the cat if you have one. You need to get it as far forward as possible to get in the hottest part of the exhaust. Right behind the cat will be good, it runs very hot anyways. As far as the orifice goes, braze or solder the end shut on the fitting that goes in the pipe and then drill it out with a 1/32" or 1/16" drill bit and go bigger if needed. If the smoke takes a long time to clear after you shut it off or you are running fuel out the pipe, it is too big. If you want to run diesel for the smoke, there is a auxiliary pick up fitting in the fuel tank you can hook to. You may have to drop the tank to access. PM me,If you need more info. I have run this set up on gassers in the past. I see no reason why it shouldn't work on any diesel, hot exhaust it what sets it off. If you really want to scare off tailgaters, try a flame thrower out the tail pipe!! I have made those too. Don't know if it would work on a diesel though, might have to try it.

you guys are rediculous! I love it! :-laf I know what you mean though, I love making tailgaters dissapear in a black cloud... .

I'd rather rig up a windshield washer tank and a stinger nozzle on the back of the truck, filled with skunk P. No visible effect, but you know they would be paying for it.
