Cost for 315's

I called the local Sams club and they quoted me $115 per tire for the 315-70-17 BFG TA/KO. Is this a good price?

Also will these tire be OK for towing? I have a 8k TT and I dont want to be taking chances.

$115 is the cheapest I've seen yet, is that mounted/balanced? You won't have any trouble towing 8k with those tires, I have the same ones (paid $125 non mounted), and haven't had any trouble towing anything upto about 13k so far.

Thats a great price. Tire Rack has them for $124 each, plus $45 shipping. Not even mounted or balanced yet.

I'm gonna check Sams too.

that does not include mounting... ... ... ... they said it would be $8 per tire... ... ... ..... mounted,balanced & lifetime rotation.

He did say I would have to order them and I could go to their website samsclub and do it on line or come to the store and do it.

It didnt look like shipping was that much... ... ... they also said it could take up to 10 days to receive

Even if I could get them shipped from G/P OR for free, wouldnt beat the $115 sams club price.

Going to order me a set as well. Sams said may take 6-8 weeks shipping, but hey, if its free, I wont complain.

What load rating are these 315's from Sams?? I don't know about Sams, but Costco is VERY picky about only installing tires that are Load Rating "E" (10 ply) for Ram 2500's. You can order them, but they will not install them for you (at least thats the way the are in my part of Virginia).

I believe theyre "D".

If they wont install them, I'll do it myself.

Not a big difference between "D" and "E"

Total price was $542... ... ... ... ... . as far as shipping they said 7 to 10 days.

He did ask what they were going on and what size I had on the truck now... ... ..... when I gave him the answer he sounded like he didnt think they would fit.
