Hello to everyone,
Today I was visiting allpar.com, and seen what are believed to be the new charges listed for the new 6. 7-L equipped 2500 and 3500 trucks beginning Jan. 1, 07. I have pasted them below.
Remember, it is not official until it is official.
6. 7L Diesel engine option $6,100 MSRP ($495 higher than 5. 9L, but exhaust brake included at n/c. Models that feature the 6. 7 as standard will be increased
by $495. 00)
6-speed auto trans - $1575. 00 MSRP ($480 higher than 4-speed)
But wait, that's not all:
Dodge will be adding an “Ultra-Clean Diesel System” charge of $995. 00 MSRP for all Ram's equipped with the 6. 7 diesel engine. This will be added as a separate
line item on the factory sticker.
Displaying this charge prominently on the Monroney label will provide high visibility of the sophisticated emissions systems on the Ram, as well as the
significant cost of these EPA standards. This approach will give dealers a more effective tool for explaining the diesel price increase, compared to a
pure, option price increase.
Merry Christmas to everyone!!
Mark.
