2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Could I do this? FASS...to...Walbro?

I have an early FASS pump, and am losing confidence in it. I am installing an II HRVP44 tomorrow, and want to feed it well.



Could I just buy a 392 inline pump, and put it where the FASS is? The pumps alone are pretty cheap.

You would have to get the by-pass valve to control the pressure of the walbro.

Where does it go? I'm guessing I could source it and use the pump with my existing(FASS) electrical harness and fuel lines?

A "T" fitting goes in the fuel line then the by-pass goes from the T back to the fuel tank. Jeff
