Alternator resistor for 60's GM

Hilarious bike video (fastest tractor in the world)!

I have a deep concern , I dont want to sound all negative and pessimistic but I see on the Fox news today that Russia pres Putin has said to stop all fighting at once!!! so what is gonna happen if they dont stop? Seams that many other countrys are of the same thought and what if they form a large coiletion and react to it? It seams there are a divided group across the world that dont want war and those that do. I do think that nothing is ever going to be the same with alot of countries and people within, heck the USA is fighting amongst themselves. Are we all in the path of self destruction?

Gas Plant too long

Whitmore you been working to much lately?Been inhaling to much of that gas:D ?We know you are on the path of self destruction:eek: cause your coming up with these:confused: questions again:-laf Whatever is going to happen will happen. Some of these other countries are like bullies to me. You got to stand up to them:mad:

I gotta agree with Kevin...

It does make you wonder what the Hell is gonna come out of all this. The ancient prophets said the end will begin in the Middle East.

Is your soul ready?

What did Rumsfeld say to Syria?

"..... I suggest Syria not get involved... "

I think that goes for everybody else.

I think Bush is showing we won't be pushed... so they all know what it would take to fight us.

And nobody wants to pay that cost.

One thing that keeps going through my mind. .

Big government never tells the people the whole truth and I'm sure the same goes for our involvement in the middle east. What is the secret meaning of our invasion of Iraq. Sure, we all think it's to liberate the Iraqi's, to remove a dangerous man and his regime. Could our secret be the desire for a strategic military installation, smack dab in the middle of everywhere. A large base in Iraq would give us a good advantage point for just about any European, Asian, African or Mid-East action, if the need be, with all the oil we would need to support the base. Could we want that so bad that we don't care what the other countries think?

According to the PNAC

According to the PNAC plan we are building a military presence in Iraq that cannot be ignored. These guys wishes are the ones that Bush is following, not the American people as most would think. They are a scarey bunch!

http://www.newamericancentury.org/

Anyone thinking this thing is all about oil, evil regimes, or liberation is sadly mistaken. Those reasons may be what is out in the open, but the real reasons are within this group.

From PNAC:

"But we cannot safely avoid the responsibilities of global leadership or the costs that are associated with its exercise. America has a vital role in maintaining peace and security in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. If we shirk our responsibilities, we invite challenges to our fundamental interests. The history of the 20th century should have taught us that it is important to shape circumstances before crises emerge, and to meet threats before they become dire. The history of this century should have taught us to embrace the cause of American leadership.

Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:

• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global

responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;

• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;

• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;

• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles.

Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next. "

I see why the Liberals don't like it- it mentions Reagan.

I don't really see the threat from these guys except to terrorists, socialists , communists, and their like.

It is the groups that operate behind closed doors, and ramble on about "safety" and "peace" for everyone, while furthering their own personal agenda, that are dangerous.

Bush took an oath to protect this country, he is doing it. It is hard to get used to a politcian who keeps his word, that may be why some are rejecting him, they just don't understand.

Dangerous path

This group preachs a dangerous path of war after war with NO end in site. After Iraq, Iran? After Iran, who? It goes on and on and on, until someone gets ticked off and drops a nuke, then all bets are off. WW-3 and the end of the earth as we know it. Then we can all start over, living in caves. They just put "world dominanation" into fancy patriotic words that the rightwing love and adore! Go PNAC!!!!! :D

Sled Puller

A "few" people don't get the same message out of that article as most do. They believe it is not about world government, but a "secret" little society trying to take over the world at any cost! Hehe... a secret society out in the open and on the web isn't very secret in my opinion. Let a liberal grab a straw..... :D

I don't know how old some of you are, but you make it seem like Bush has ruined peace for your lifetime. How many other conflicts have we been in in your lifetime? They have always been there and always will. A scape goat is always nice to have in your pocket I suppose.

Beginning of the End? Revelations spells it all out very well (for those who believe in the Bible). It might seem bad now but we still have 3. 5 years of peace to look forward too under the anti-Christ :rolleyes: Then things will get bad. If you think it is bad now, you are in for a big surprise down the road. I'm usually not a Bible thumper but you guys are makin' me do it :) :p :D

Lots more to come first.

What we are seeing and hearing is just a taste of the precursers to the main event. There's much more coming. If you ever see Israel along with many other nations ratify some kind of treaty that allows them to sacrifice and also have oblation; then "hang on to your hat " ---- the main event will have begun.

Regards,

Lowell

The irony to me is that the rest of the world would have to goto war to stop us. They want peace so bad that they would go against their beliefs - that war is no good and peace is everything. But to achieve this they HAVE TO fight for those beliefs, but they dont want WAR.

Little off to the side (dont understand which side this would be tho) :confused:

Except to the American taxpayer who will pay for their goals and the risk of inflaming the entire world against us. They know they can't beat our military so they resort to the poor man's weapon - terrorism. All we're doing is making it worse not eliminating it.

I wouldn't mind PNAC's goals so much except for the founding member's ties to the military-industrial complex and the fact that their doctrine was written way before 9/11. These guys stand to makes billions off war, smells fishy, just like Cheney's Halliburton Corp being the only one who bid and awarded the contract to rebuild Iraq's oilfields over a year ago.

Right out front

We never said it was a secret organization, just a evil one. The real scary part is that they can operate out in the open with the backing of most rightwingers! It tells you that the propaganda spread by a political party is working well.

The infrastruture of this nation is decaying while our president is going for Iraq. Every state out there is going bankrupt, the highway system is rotting. The trucking industry is losing independant truckers, because of high fuel cost and insurance rates (thanks to our BHS). The school systems throughout the nation are going downhill fast. Our nations borders are for the most part undefended. Yet our administration continued into a war! I feel like I am trapped on a roller coaster with Elmer Fudd at the controls. "Gonna get that Wabbit"... ... .

Far right and left political groups are gaining ground and members. I don't know if another civil war is in the works or not. If there was, the ruling political party would have the power. Maybe that is the only way to stop this move for world domination by the PNAC and our administration.

We are now in the soup whether we like it or not. It is too late for protest. We must win the war in Iraq. Afterwards we had better do some real thinking towards getting out of the region and taking care of OUR house!

:D

Who cares? You can't take it with you and were all leaving sooner or later. Can anyone here change anything other than their mind :rolleyes:

That's a pretty selfish view of things. I don't want my kids or grand kids growing up in fear on a planet that's radioactive due to a few bureaucrats greed.

Catch 22

Back to the darned if you do darned if you don't. 9/11 put us in the soup. I'm pretty sure that would have happened no matter who was in office. Schools are in a spiral and all the other things mentioned by CF, but they were spiraling before the war on Iraq. The sad thing is that we are getting into the same situation here at home between fellow Americans as they see us abroad. We are being divided, that makes us look much weaker.

I guess I don't see it as political as in who's in office at the moment. If Gore was in office I would be behind him too. For some people I guess their politics are more important than being an American. As I said 9/11 would have happened anyway. The parts of the world that don't care for us cheered when the WTC came down. It was a strike on America "the great evil", if we did nothing they would see us as weak and do it again(nothing like a soft target). When the day came that it did happen again, the President in office would be in hot water (especially from the Lefty's) because nothing was done to protect them. No-one rants and raves about their rights more than a protester type who has been violated themselves. It's OK as long as it's happening to someone else.

Other countries get mad if we don't help them and then get mad after we have helped them because they think we look down on them. Our country cant even unite right now because of what? Because people think this war is going to provoke attack on US soil? Please people, come around. Terrorists attack when we least expect it, when this war is over then be weary. It is a new age that was inevitable. No one could stop it and it wasn't brought on by war, so we better come together, stop pointing fingers and love and protect your neighbor. People in Afghanistan didn't even know that buildings could be made as big as the WTC. People who are that far back technology wise, that hate Americans, are finding out that the world is not as big as they thought. They know that they can reach us. They will be coming to harm us and you better be ready for it. You can bet Democrat or Republican in office, someone will eventually get through to harm us again. People do their best to protect us, but they are just people. Mistakes happen and we don't pick up on everything.

My soap box is creaking, I better get off :)
