First off, I was told at the dealership yesterday when I took delivery that the oil change was 15,000 miles. I would not run one this long, however, my owners manual says 7500 miles. I have also seen this mentioned in here. Where did this info come from?

Second, I can not find in my warranty book where it states that you cannot drill or weld a fifth wheel or goose-neck hitch to the frame. Have they changed the books or have I just missed these two items?

There are two schedules for service. One which calls for a 15000 interval that applies for no one as near as I can tell. You know, the one you can use if you dont drive in stop and go traffic etc. The other is 7500 miles that applies to everyone. This is straight out of the maintenence manual you will get when you take delivery of your truck. I was reading this stuff at the dealer while I was waiting for them to finish the paperwork and commented that by the rules they have for the 15000 interval I didnt see how anyone could qualify. My dealer said doing the 15000 would be a good way to void my warranty since it clearly doesnt apply to anyone on earth.

Frame question. You should not weld or heat any hydro-formed frame, it changes its structure. (makes it weaker) You need to contact DC to get the answer to how you attach to this type of a frame.

That information is not normally given to the customer. You have to ask the service manager. Then if he doesn't know ask him to contact the National Service Manager. It's kind of a sleazy way of doing business. I and a few others are p****d about it, but DC considers it a good way of handling customer relations.
