I need to replace my dasboard and bezel with full replacements... wondering if anyone has a place i could purchase them from for a 2001 2500 SPORT...

Also came across a product por15 and was wondering if this was worth the time and effort to fix the door rot problem that i am sure everyone is experiencing... or is it worth it to just get the body work done?

Also if there is a place to buy aftermarket Front and Rear Bumper Replacements w/ Fog Light spots something similar to Ranch Hand Bullnose bumper. ... for a 2001 2500 SPORT

I don't know if the parts you want are still available through MOPAR parts sources. Try contacting MOPAR4LESS,an internet discount parts dealer with excellent service and prices.

You didn't fill in your location so we can only guess at where you live and why the doors are rotting out of your truck. If you live in a state that spreads salt or chemicals on the roadways during winter I would say it's not worth it. POR15 may kill existing rust but won't prevent moisture and salt intrusion and another cycle of rust.

I can tell you this - it doesn't happen where I live.

We have just tried POR15 on the storage boxes and liftgate for my parts shuttle truck.

Had my father who is semi-retired do it for us one day last month.

I will report it's progress next spring after a full winter of road slop coating to see how well it will hold up.

Just remind me and will document it for you.

I will tell you to wear gloves when applying it because we have no hand cleaner or chemical here that would remove it from my Dad's hands.

He had to wear it off, took about a week. :D

As Harvey says, "where in the country do you live"???

The POR15 seems to act similar to an Eastwood product that I used years ago. It seems to really bond to the steel.

May be worth a try on the rusty door bottoms as long as you don't have any existing rust that is all the way through the metal.

If you do have open rust holes you might as well take it to the body shop.

Pictures of applied POR15.

1st pic

Drivers side storage box doors

2nd pic

Top of box, doors looked just that before coating with POR15

3rd pic

Liftgate steps

4th pic

Wear spot on liftgate where it contacts the second plate when open, shows that the POR15 is not chipping or flaking off if contacted.

5th pic

Fully coated liftgate assembly.
