Courstey lights on running boards ?

Where would the best place to tie in my running board courtsey lights so they come on when you open the door or when you unlock the truck with the remote ? I had started to pop the rubber gasket on the back door , what a p. i. t. a. I would hope there is an easier way. Thanks robert

Same place as AMP running board switches.

I think it is door ajar wires.

Go to AMP Research site and the have install instructions you can download, for a specific Truck model and year.

Pull the A-post panel off on the driver's side. When you get it off I believe the yellow and blue wire is the one you want. You might check it with a test light, but I'm pretty sure that it goes to the dome light. You can run your wires up throught the rubber gromet by the drivers door and then up through the dash.
