Just wondering....

That truck cap looks pretty sharp... . I thought I would use your thread to toss in another related question.



I have a ARE Z-series cap on my truck most of the time. When I want to load up the slide-in camper, I made up what I call a "Pharaoh's cradle" which, after I undo the clamps on the truck cap, I can then simply slide the cap onto the "Pharaoh's cradle" , Egyptian pyramids style, and then roll the truck cap into my garage. Total time required 60 minutes max, no external help neccessary.



The cradle itself disassembles when not in use and was designed so it can also be carried in the bed. How does anyone else out there achieve the same goal? Just curious.....

I was thinking of using some lift straps to a hoist that I would set up in the top of my barn.
