covid vaccine yet

Well after a year I finally got my doctor to answer the question as to why so many covid cases show up and almost no flu cases.

Masks and social distancing.

It is a no win scenario for the doctors

You tell every one that they have covid and they get extra money

You tell someone that they don't have covid and they do..... you get a lawyer

How long does vaccine protect?

They don't know yet.

If you have had covid, you can get it again.

So far, that appears to be rare (at least in the one years time we've been dealing with it)

So how long does vaccine last?

They don't know yet.

You get the flu shot once a year and it usually is not even the right strain.

I wouldn't say that it is "usually" wrong, only sometimes.
It is well known that your body does not maintain its resistance to influenza for more than abut 6 months give or take.

Covid seems to be mutating into at least 3 if not 4 strains now that they say the vaccine will cover all. I highly doubt it.

They seem to think it will. They know better than we do. The spike proteins seem to be similar in the different strains and that is what the vaccine replicates.

I said how do you tell the difference?

Doctor: " It is what ever the physician puts down on paperwork"

If it is a lie he told it!

It sounds to me like he's lying. Each of these tests require a specific testing kit.

When the polio vaccine was being made one company was taking its time to make it right while another rushed to get it to the people.

The one who rushed it produced a batch the gave people polio.

The currently approved vaccines do not use any part (active or not) of the coronavirus. It is impossible to acquire it from this vaccine.

Took my wife to the ER this afternoon. She has Covid pneumonia and a touch of regular pneumonia. She didn’t feel good a week ago and tested positive last Thursday. Her temp started out at 102.9 and was just under 100 today, but her O2 level on a pulse oximeter started at 98 and dropped to 90 today.

Her temp started out at 102.9 and was just under 100 today, but her O2 level on a pulse oximeter started at 98 and dropped to 90 today.

The first day I had covid my temp was 102.9, it stayed between 99.5 and 100.5 over the next two weeks. Spiked again one day at the end to 102 again.
