Ok here's my question about them. While they look very nice and I would love to have one, I would only buy one if I could use it to actually feed air to filter instead of using that hole in the fender idea (which i think sucks). So if this is possible I would almost be willing to be the guinea pig for that project.
I have a cowl hood that was made by reflexxions. It is identical to the ones you mentioned. The picture with the hood on the truck is the same one that they used for advertisment. I bought mine at Summit racing. It was used as a display for truckfest and had been knocked over. I work for a body shop and it was half off the origional price. One corner was folded over and it had a oil can dent in the cowl. I repaired painted and put it on the next day. The fit was excellent. There is plenty of adjustment and the grill also fit nice. As the weather warms up Ill try and get some pictures of it. I also have a Chevy pickup with a Harwood fiberglass hood on it. It took me a full day to get everything lined up on it. I say steel is the way to go.
