This post and it's following replies should be used for ACCOUNTING for the KDP jigs, and just briefly telling of it's particular location.

If you have a jig... . POST and tell it's location, so the next potential user can contact you about the timing available and the shipping.

All TDR members should post and reply here, and I'm assuming TDR members are the PRIORITY USERS of the jigs regardless of location.

Here we go guys and gals.

As I mentioned in another thread, I currently have a jig. I finally got the fan off today (didn't kill the dowel pin because I have to run off to work, but I'll get it done tomorrow), and I should be shipping it out Monday or Tuesday. It has already been spoken for.

It is going to the Akron, Ohio area. Check out this thread here:

Maybe the jig can kill a few dowel pins in one afternoon.

A huge thanks to CPFF! :)

Pacific NW Jig #3 should be going to Rosebunch in Ephrata, WA on Monday, then on to Everett, WA. Only 8 more on the waiting list after that = at least two months wait. So that's two jigs accounted for, where are the other eight? Did they go to the same place that the Physcotty hole saws did?

i have been made kind of aware of this b@st@rd everyone calls the KDP. i have a 98 and have been told that mines needs fixed. if anyone has a jig or has a waiting list for the jig please PM me or email me or just put me on the list because i would like to get this fixed so i can stop worring about any else going wrong on my truck. i live in sharpsburg md, but go to college in morgantown WV. thanks

KDP

I put my name on the list for the jig several months ago but never was notified that my name was next. Please put me on this list. I live in east Texas and I sure would love to have access to a jig. Thanks.

KDP Jig

I was the first to get the jig CPFF sent to California. I forwarded it to Gil Moncreif (sp?) TDR member in Carlsbad, CA. , along with my own notes on use of the rig.

At the time I sent Mr. Strenkowski (sp?) a donation and an E-mail with Gil's address and e-mail address so he would know where it went from my house. I gave specific instructions to Mr. Moncreif he was to keep CPFF updated as to the status of the jig.

I read awhile back CPFF complained he had only received a couple of E-mail acknowledgements, and I know one of them was mine. I know he cashed the check. I know Gil received it cause he reimbursed the postage.

Hope this helps.

KDP Corraled

Hooray, I can finally relax. The KDP is at last corraled where it belongs! The #3 JIG is on it's way to slybones in Everett WA.

Thanks to CPFF and illflem.

Got to love this TDR org and members. ;) ;)

need the jig

Does anyone have a jig in the midwest??? St. Louis Area?? If not, would someone please put me on the list. With my luck lately, I better get on the list. I've been lucky so far..... 141K miles

Thanks

I would like to be put on the list for the northwest jig. I am in Baker City, Oregon. My '95 has 130,000 miles and I guess I need to check this out.

Hey Oldschool,

Just tried to email you but got my message returned. What exactly does this jig look like and do? I'm wondering how hard they would be to make so there were more out in circulation.

Drop me a note and let me know.

Jones

Does somebody somewhere have an actual LIST of folks waiting for the KDP jig, or are we all just trying to scratch around and find the LAST GUY who used it so we can BUG HIM to send it to us?

That said, I would also like to get on the Ca. jig list. Does anybody know where it is? Or who has dibs on it next. IF anybody knows, please let me know.

This is the last known user of the Calif jig, this is his 3rd and last post dated 5/14/01. Good place to start if someone wants to do some detective work.

This is the first list of users, most of the jigs seem to have disappeared shortly thereafter. If someone wants to track them down it may be another place to start. This really sucks, CPFF spent a lot of energy putting these jigs together, if a person was to pay to have a jig made it would easily be worth $100+ . Eight jigs seem to be missing still.

Bill... ... ... and fsimkowski and any other guys who know i will start tracking this one down any help would be mucho appreciated thanks

we need to set up a california kdp party sooo any californians interested in having a party let me know I will try to start tracking down the ca kdp

Brandon, If you find the CA jig, you'd certainly be a good person to keep track of it since you are in contact with many other Rammers. I've come to the conclusion that the jigs need to have someone coordinating their movement or they get "lost". The PNW jig has been "lost" twice. Both times have been by a well meaning member loaning it to someone not on the list who then loans it someone else. The last person to get it can't get their fan off, air compressor working etc. and then says next weekend, which never comes, the jig sits collecting dust and forgotten. Unfortunately this seems to have happened right off the bat with many of the jigs. The jigs first started circulating when the TDR website allowed email address access to non-members. I have the feeling that the missing jigs ended up in the hands of some non TDR members that may be hard to track down and the jigs may be "lost" forever...

I know that one other jig was originally sent to Colorado that seemed to disappear instantly, that's another place to start looking if a person wants to search TDR archives to try and track it down.
