Greetings fellow diesel nuts,

I joined this fine group many month ago to lurk and learn.

My project invoves an early '04 complete drivetrain in my '77 TRAVCO motorhome. I bought a perfectly good truck and completely stripped most everything. Wiring, dash, HVAC, steering column. Anything I might need.

The swap is going well, and if I can I'll post some pics. My first hurdle is that I need a front sump pickup. I'm turning the pan around due to interference with the drag link. If you know a part # please let me know.

Thanks!!

Mike welcome:) I would give Cummins a call for the oil pick up sorry I don't have a number to contribute...

What is the p/n on the pan you are using? If you can't find it what is the engine serial number ( ESN )? Shadrach

Thanks for the replys guys. I found the part # and it was priced at $80. Figurd I had nothing to lose, so I heated the brazed joint and took apart my rear sump pickup. Cut it to the very short length I needed and rebrazed the parts together. Came out perfect. I'm really amazed that I was able to simply flip the rear sump pan around and only a small modification to the lip to fit and I'm in business.

I'm now working on getting the giant radiator to fit... ..... some fitting required!!
