Cracked blocks???!!

I am after a new (used) Turbo Diesel after my first got wrecked, but now I hear that quite a few of the late 90's Cummins have been having cracked blocks and that there may even be a class action lawsuit! This is hard for me to believe but I thought I'd throw it out here, before I did anything. Has anyone heard about this?

A FEW blocks crack that are 53 blocks. Do a search on 53 blocks. Not many have failed but those are the ones with the problem.

I have one but don't worry about it.
