Cracked fuel jumpers

I had the number 4 fuel jumper from the rail to the head crack on my last trip to Fla. not fun but Chrysler fixed me up nice and fast. My question is this common? Should I stock up on the jumper lines and keep them under my seat with the tools to change them?

Injection lines for cylinders #4 and #6 are the ones known to fail occasionally. To change them, you will need a 19 mm or ¾” open end wrench. The hold down bracket for #4 uses a 10 mm head bolt to the intake cover, and 8mm to hold the clamp to the line. If you have the updated #6, there will be a stabilizing clamp to the head that takes the 8mm on the clamp at the line and 13 mm for the nut to the stud on the head.

I lost number 4 and my local Dodge dealer had plenty of them in stock. Funny they did not have any of the others.

I lost the #4 injector line also, not very fun when you are sitting in traffic and smoke starts to come from under the hood and fuel covers everything.
