2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Cracked Mirror

I have a crack in my right side heated mirror. Can you change just the glass, or is it the whole mirror housing too?

On my 01 the glass is replacable, not sure what the differances are between 99 and 01... ... ... ..... there might be hope though.

Getting ready to install tow mirrors on my 99. Now have heated power standard mirrors. If you need to replace whole thing let me know. Will be willing to let go at a fair price . Let me know what you find out. Jim

You can just replace the glass. You just pull the old one off and the new one just pops right on. There is a electrical connector for the heat also. I think it was around 30-40 dollars.

what kind of towing mirrors are you going to purchase. I pull a 5 wheel and have those clip on mirrors. The clip on mirrors shake way too much

Bought a set of 2nd gen tow mirrors off of ebay from henson motors. They are the mopar type and bolt right on. Will be doing the power version swap when done.
