My mods before the nozzle install were... . TSTPMCR, Edge EZ on top setting... I now have power pup 130 hp, with the new 90 hp nozzles and this thing rips but toasty. . How many miles did you run the EZ on the high setting? Were you getting any white smoke or rough idling with 4 nozzles cracked? --Eric

how many miles is on your truck with the previous modds, did you do the install of the nozzles yourself if so how difficult would you say that it is??

I had around 40,000 miles with them mods... I have decided not to use a pressure box any more due to the old nozzles being cracked. The install was pretty easy with the instructions provided by Dynomite Diesel. . It took me about 5 hrs or so working very slow to make sure nothing was out of order. . The only problem I have now is my truck will surge on the extreme setting of the bully dog. . We are still trying to figure out if it is the bully dog, or the nozzles... I think it might be the downloader since it does not do it without the programmer installed... Overall I am very pleased with the added power...

Honestly I really didn't notice a difference in the idle... I used the ez on high setting for about 40,000 miles... . No white smoke, I did notice a loss in power after running the ez for a while...

well i thought that aftermarket nozzles were built to hold up to the pressure boxes are atleast better than stock? I am thinking of doin injectors myself, I am looking at dynomite and flux and body got any really good are really bad things to say about either? Thanks

According to the F1 website, their injectors use a special alloy tip that has no problems running up to 39,000 psi!!! Don't even know of a pressure box that is that aggressive! I've not used them personally though... check with TomeyGun. --Eric

I have Dynomite Diesel 90hp injectors in my truck and love them. I bit the bullet when they were offering them at $300. I sent my injectors to them, they changed the tips and sent them back. All I did was remove and install the injectors.

My DDP 90's have worked flawlessly. Ross at Dynomite has always been helpful with questions on the phone. They overnighted the injector nozzles to me and I overnighted them back. I have also heard great things about the flux injectors. Will the bodies hold up to 39k?

ya i read that on there site that they were tested up to 39000psi that is what impressed me so much about them i would like to hear from some guys that are running flux, and maybe some guys that are running DD with a tst pwrmx w/r49

I have no expereince with flux but have heard good things about them on here but I have seen the 50&90hp DDP injectors perform flawlessly in several trucks. I recenly replaced 3 injector bodies that were cracked on a 04 thats was running only a torquedog an the tips were fine. In my opinion the harder tips would make the bodies the week point with high pressure somethings got to give.

Sure would be nice to have a complete injector (body and tip) that could withstand the higher pressures seen by pressure modules

I would say it's the Bdog causing the surge. My truck does this, as well, on the extreme setting. It also did it before I changed the nozzles. I am running the DD nozzles. Have been for about 13000 miles, and no issues. My TST doesn't do pressure, though, so I can't say how they perform with that particular box. The injectors and TST combo will help to drain the rail faster, though. :D

yea a tst and injectors your rail is dry need a modded cp3 for sure i have heard alot of good things bout the flux but funny not one person on this thread has had them

the only thing that bothers me about DD is they say on there site pretty much if you use a pressure box they dont warranty their product, and then you got the flux website sayyin year BRING IT ON!!!! tested for 18 monthes at 39000psi w/o failure

and i do run pressure with my tst and after nozzles a modded cp3 will be on the way so should i be leary bout the DD are has anyone ran a pressure box on DD for a long period of time?
