Crackin Down On Gun Shows

Man they have been really crackin down on shows in north east Ohio. Mostly local goverment. Whats it like in your neck of the woods.

Plenty of shows, just nothing worth buying. All the deals are gone.

Cracking down, like how? Banning shows from civic centers?

Lexington, Kentucky, biggest little liberal city, tried banning Bill Goodman and all other gun shows about a year ago. It was successfully overturned in court.

here in his area of s. w. florida thangs are pretty good. shows tend to make a circuit between 3 to 4 counties on a regular basis. they also offer carry permit classes at most of the shows. bruce

Several a month here in Western Washington. In fact we had the annual NRA collectors show here back in July. Buddy and I went to the Banquet and saw Mr. Heston Speak. Overall prices are high at most shows though.



Future is now more uncertain. Demo's now control all three branches (Gov. , house, and senate) as of last election and we are expecting a flood of anti-gun legislation. Mostly sponsored by Washington Ceasfire, our local gestapo of gun grabbers.



Fortunately the state residents are more gun friendly. The anti's tried a big statewide initiative a few years back with handgun registration, mandatory training, blah, blah, blah and it got slaped down pretty hard. Defeated by something like 70% but I can't remember exactly.

There was a good, no... excellent show in PA at the Raddison in King of Prussia, but the Raddison was sold, and the new owners didnt like guns.

There are still some really good ones in SE PA. Ft Washington is a good one, as is Harrisburg, the one at the fram show complex.

No such thing as a gun show here in NJ.

It's seems the politicly correct picture of a gun show is this supermarket where bank robbers,drug attics,terroist,ect... . ect...come to do thier shopping. Infact if you hangout for awhile you,ll find Doctors, lawyers,policemen,huntters,collectors!!!



I was at a show an some obvious gang members came in you could here a pin drop[talk about a turd in a punch bowl] The privite collectors told them to take a hike!!!! Fedral Licence Dealers had to let them shop!!!!!!



Ohio gun collectors assocaition they have been forced out of the IX center. By local politics. I,am talk'n about a very old reputable club that has closed shows for members only.

In Austin there is a gun show every month, and the same goes for Houston. The shows have some good prices.
