Same seats I had in my Laramie 3rd gen. HATED them! Most uncomfortable pieces of crap I have ever sat in. Was real disappointed in them going from the nice comfortable seats in my second gen.

Truth be told, the seats were half the reason I wanted to get rid of the '05...

Amen to that !

When I test drove the Ram, I didn't really notice it. But when I was on my way home from Dave Smith Motors- Idaho back to Wash, after two hours in the saddle that's when I noticed the discomfort setting in, mostly in my low back. At first I thought, OK, you just came from 10 years in a plush Suburban with cloth seats, give it some time, it may just need to be broke in. I was new to Leather, heated, 64 way adjustable electric, I'll find the right setting eventually..... HA !

Eight years later to this month, it's still absolutely the worse seat I've ever experienced. No wonder my back is screwed up, 310 thousands miles sitting on a POS. Maybe it's made for someone 200lbs plus, IDK...

Did I mention that it "flips back" with the slightest pressure on the seat back ? Oh yeah, I did..#@$%!

There is an alternative though, way back in the threads somewhere a member posted an optional replacement seat for about 500.00 (back then). I spent the money elsewhere though on maintenance, my massage therapist and my Chiropractor.

Maybe Dodge has made some improvements, I don't know, and it doesn't matter anyhow, I'll never buy another new Dodge or any make for that matter. Sans a Tesla if I had a spare 100g's sit'n around.

Go ahead all you die-hards, with the perfect Ram made on Wednesday without as much as a hiccup, flip me you're feces, I can handle it.. I have IGNORE power... ;)

;)

I'm around 225 and I can tell you that they are no better at my size. We have the same seat in the '04.5 and it is really bad after a few hours on the road. The only thing that I will add is that I think that seat is more comfortable than the one in the '07, not that it is saying much.

I didn't notice how bad they were in my 03 either until I had a few hours in the rack.
I thought they would be great because my old 93 had the best bucket seats I had ever used. How could new truck not be better??

My '97 has a far better seat than the '06 does. I was not expecting that when I bought it either.....

Mike.

I must be the oddball here I do not find them to be uncomfortable at all. I have done 12-15 hrs none stop but to pee and fuel and felt just fine when I got to my destination.

Same here, i drive 18 to 20 hrs. and i have titanium rods in my back, seats don't bother me, now the seats in that little Mazda 3 i had were a pos , hurt me terribly, Monte
