From what I'm reading latley it seems advancing the timing (adjustable crank connector) a bite will help with fuel milage. If you have a TST and set to 1/1 that's the same as advancing the timing?
This weekend with no load on I set the TST at 3/3 and was getting 15. 2 with cruise at 70. Return home on 1/1 with cruise set around 73-75 I got 17. 4 . This was on a 440 mile trip. Mostly highway.
I believe everyone will say I didn't have the same power which I will agree but if I added a pressure box I would be right back in the power range. Members have proven a pressure box doesn't seem to hurt fuel milage.
Thoughts?
