I have a 2001, 2500 with only 27700 miles on it and just the other day it became sluggish when taking off from a stop. My first inclination was low transmission fluid. When I went to check it I noticed a bit of smoke in the lights. When I opened the hood I searched all over untill I looked at the crank case breather bottle and it was just coming out of the small holes in it. It had the nomal oil smell that Rotella has but is the smoke normal.

The smoke is normal, mine smokes periodically. You may want to relocate the bottle tho, before it makes your engine compartment a mess, not to mention a contributing factor in radiator clogging.

thanks for the info . Now after a topped off my transmission it still has nothing in Drive I use 2nd gear to get going. Any body have any suggestions what it is. I'm trying to get it in to the dealer on Monday since it's still on warranty.

Thanks B. W. T.
