Thanks, TDR Staff

Fuse box // starter solenoid not grounding.

Fuel filter cap leaking big time.

I replaced my clutch switch and the crank position sensor with OEM units. Truck just cranks and cranks but won't fire.

Code I'm getting after replacing the crank sensor.

Short out the clutch pedal switch to take it out of the equation. If that doesn't do it
May need to chase the wires from the sensor to the computer and ohm them out to make sure there are no breaks.

If clutch switch is incorrect it won't crank. sinc eit cranks it isn't that. As long as either the crank or cam sensor works the truck will usually start after a long crank. Crank sensor could be bad out of the box (yes that is a normal occurrence) or not plugged in correctly or something else disturbed. Back check your work on the crank sensor.

Was it starting before? If not try a quick shot of starting fluid after 15 seconds of cranking and see if will fire and run, you might have other issues interfering with start up. Also make sure batteries are top notch and starter is spinning fast enough.

It was starting fine before I shut it down to address the leaking radiator and leaking crankshaft seal. After replacing those items and a few other things along the way. It wont start now.

Hook up a scan tool and watch the real time data to see if you are getting rpm indication during cranking. Why did you replace the crank sensor to start with?

Pinched wire between the trans and engine? I always go back to what did we do to break it. Retrace your steps. That code does not mean a bad sensor. It means there is a problem anywhere in the circuit. Did you have a jack near the tone wheel. Coolant leak into a connector during the repair?
