Dealer confirms the problem is the sensor. How do you get this to come out of the block? I've twisted and pulled till I'm ready to start something drastic. Maybe drill a small hole down the side to relieve whatever is holding it? Anybody have this problem? :{

There should have been a 10 mm bolt and hold down bracket on the sensor. Remove the bolt, then pry the hold down bracket off with a flathead screwdriver and the sensor should come out.

After I took the bolt out I was able to pull it out but I about tore the end of my finger off on the dipstick tube. It is hard to pull out because it seals so tight, but it will come out.
