Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) crankcase pressure

hello all just a simple question my truck smokes a bunch out from under the hood from the evac tube thats in the bottle when sitting at a light idleing smoke exits through the front of the hood is this normal or is something wrong in the engine causing this (there is no fan on the engine thats why it comes out the grill) thanks Aaron

I usually don't notice it but if the outside temp and lighting is right it seems like the darn thing is on fire. Not that I am tree hugger but when you see that you can see why they went with closed crankcase vent systems years ago on cars and light trucks.
