What Engine oil are you now using

NV5600 Transmission Mount??

Ok guys. Read forums for years. Just "logged" in for the first time. Looking fir some educated advise.
Quick about me. Lifetime knuckle buster and 20 year chrysler mastertech. Been out of the game about10 years but still build diesel 47/48's occasionally.
My truck 2006 2500 5.9. Turbo/air upgrades, stock fuel. Smarty touch (efi live soon). 235,000mi (over 100,000 with 12k+behind it)
Ok. So i blew up the internediate shaft "playing" on fresh asphalt. So i wanted to billet upgrade. That went down a 6500$ rat hole of hell.
Sonnax input, intermediate, 29spline output
Tcs direct drum (oversize piston), forward clutch billet shell
All new bushing and thrust washers (including the sonnax pfte #5,7&8)
Ended up using stock front servo with billet cover. Servo has internal block.
4.4 ratio front sevo lever
Goernd 15ss triple disc
Transgo valvebody tuned by Dustin @ power driven dieseil(awesome people and service))
Dnj billet gov body and gm solenoid
Stock transducer (built with bd diesel 3rd design and pigtail but it failed and caused me to smash my head on lots of hard stuff)
Ok so its up and running.
Line pressure 100 at idle in gear, 150 driving and 175 during lock up.
Gov pressure doing what it needs to (after figuring out bd "upgrade" was faulty, grrrrrrr)
Ok so all is good EXCEPT...
Got a lite throttle 2/3 flare. It ls geeting off the band before the oversize tcs direct piston fills. The more throttle pressure the better the 2/3 shift.
Dont want to over compensate with pressure adjustments or band adjustments and cause an overlap at heavier thrttle input.
Need tuning advise. Anybody had to tune for this combination?

Sounds like you're talking about hydraulic tuning using valve body mods... For that you'd want to contact transgo, maybe they have some different spring options... On the other hand there is a good option for overall custom tuning on your 48RE:

Why switch to EFI Live?

UDC Pro for the Touch has more available tables for tuning than EFI Live, and this can provide a better tune. Full 48RE tuning is possible with UDC Live.

1-2 and 2-3, as you probably know, are mechanical shifts... but there are some tuning options that can delay that shift.
