Anyone know when or if the program is going to work on the 03-04 trucks? The triple dog's ability to get upgrades on the web sounds great but are there going to be programs like this for all trucks or only 04. 5 and up trucks?

im with you i would like the cray larry program for my 03. Everyone is talking about it. They just came out with the triple dog. So im going to give them some time before i get to worked up. I like the programing on this thing it is very nice. I like the timing set up alittle better.

I called them yesterday...

No plans for a Crazy Larry on the '03-'04 trucks.

They also had no explanation for the low numbers the SO/HO trucks put out with their downloader. Here's what their testing revealed:

Tow 66hp/95tq

Perf. 94hp/106tq

Extr. 113hp/135tq

Usually the torque numbers are double the hp numbers or better. I asked them if they de-rated the older trucks for the 47re, but the response was "no, that's just what our truck ended up with after programming"

Perhaps there's something with the older truck that won't allow "crazy" power levels with a downloader?

Hmmm... That doesn't sound too impressive to me. I think I may just call them prior to making a purchase. Looks like more research is required.

Could it be that the newer trucks have an electronically controlled wastegate?

If their program (for the 04. 5's & up) allow more boost, that wouldn't work on our trucks.

Just a guess.

I don't think the wastegate has anything to do with it. My quad box gave me tons of power, and 8-10 lbs boost over stock, and it's just using the MAP sensor, rail sensor, and com port.

The BDDL on extreme will only produce about 3psi over stock.
