I was just wondering, which of these two boxes make the most power? I have a 2005 with an SPS62, and injectors should be just after the first of the year. I've got a TS Ramifier and the Crazy Larry now, though I'm not going to use the CL until the trans gets the triple disc and transgo on 12-16. If I need the TST, I may go ahead and order it if it's the "best" power adder. On another note, how does the Edge 180hp HOT juice compare to these boxes. I hadn't planned on messing with this truck, though I guess it just wouldn't be natural not to. .

I currently have the TST w/twins, Edge EZ and BD Triple Dog w CL stacked. I thought the TST and EZ alone would make more useable power than with the BDDL Crazy Larry. I have tried just about every combination with the TST and EZ alone. I can get an extra 25rwhp(522/930) and . 2 second better in the 1/4 mile if I stack the TST and EZ with the Performance program. I don't know why because I dont have the tools to tune everything with(DRBIII or equivelant). My best dyno is with BD Performance program loaded TST on 7/6 and EZ on 3. This stack also produced my best 1/4 time so far 13. 27s.

I really don't like a downloader, but I also have to admit that I need it with my current supporting mods to get the most power.

I also ran the HOT Juice and EZ stacked. HOT Juice level 5 and EZ level 3 dyno'd about 475rwhp and ran consistent 13. 8s 1/4s.

Next year I will be doing some additional mods and will go through all of the combos again to see what changes.

My experience with the three mods alone:

TST #1

Crazy Larry #2

HOT Juice #3

HOT Juice and Crazy Larry were very close to the same alone.

JVolpe,Do you have different injectors or the stock ones?Mine runs much better without the TST and just the CL and EZ on high. It liked the TST before I put the injectors in.

I stack all three together and it works very well.

This just doesn't even make sense. You can only advance the timing so much and hold the injectors open so long before the engine just stops working properly.

I was making more power than the stock drivetrain could hold @ 495/926 with Crazy Larry and TST 7/3. Anything more created missfires and lowered my dyno numbers. This is all nodrugs, #2 only.

We're estimating around 560 after the trans upgrade with this setup. I would really like to test someone's pressure box with the TST vs. a Hot Juice. I think the TST combo with a good pressure box is the real winner.

I have stock injectors and head bolts. Valve cover has not been off yet for performance work.

I will try the CL and EZ stack by itself again and see what happens. I don't remember what exactly it did before.

Wouldn't the CL and the EZ be a little too much pressure for the CP3?

I think so, I think that is part of my problem. I believe that any of the stacks I use actually have Rail Pressure issues on the high end. I need to get my hands on a DRBIII to see if maybe the Rail Pressure Relief Valve has popped once or if the boxes/etc just ask for more rail pressure than the cp3 can give.

Or the upcoming tuneable pressure box from SP Diesel which includes a rail pressure gauge...

At the dyno day in tomeygun's dealership we put the DRB on 3 3rd gen truck including mine before i left. It was draining the rail in my setup, it wanted 26,000 psi and could only get 12-13,000. When the throttle was let off the pressure was right back. There was a truck there with the programmer, TST/EZ stack and he had blew his safety and it wouldn't get above 12,000 anytime. i made 491 hp for reference.

I agree with you 100%. You have have to find a happy medium between all three. It takes a lot of playing around to get them to work togerther wright. There is no way you can run them together on the highest setting, I have tried it and you are right runs like crap.

Mine with just the TST on 3x3 and EZ on med. would start missing as soon you get in it. With the CL and EZ on high it runs fine. I am sure it is running out of fuel. I will find out what kind of hp it is putting put out in 2 weeks.
