2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Crazy truck pull!!

Im not sure if Im posting this in the right spot and I apologize if I am but I have to tel you what happend to me and some of my friends at a truck and tractor pull this past weekend. I wish I had a video of this and I tried to find someone that did but Im striking out. Anyway..... the pull was at a new track in a little town that was sponsored locally but the national pullers came just for point standings so was real fun. It was winding down and the track officials said that anyone that wants to pull with there personal trucks may do so. Well he was egging all the diesel owners on so a couple said they would. Ummm 2 powerjokers!! Well while they were waiting to pull which was about a half hour to go they started shouting there mouths off how great their trucks were( both 4door 4x4 '05's auto) and started slammin the dodges. There were quiet a few cummins owners there. So a friend of mine had his 94 cummins reg cab 4x4 auto there. We looked at each other and thought what the heck we'll go for it. The first put was 8000lb class. Both fords pulled 146 and 147. 3 ft. We get on there and went 166. 7 ft. Well they were :-{} ummm yeah you got it. And accused us of not havin a stock truck. This then proceeded to get nasty as some other ford owners started getting a little physical. Some pro pullers and an official came over and checked out our dodge and of course there was nothing. That really made them mad so wanted a pull off. So we went for the 10,000 pull and the gloves were off. We took the exhaust off put my BHAF on slid the plate ahead ajusted the star a little, blocked the rear axle and put 2100 lbs of tractor weights on to bring it up to weight. We put 1000 pounds on the floor boards. They saw us do those things so they had to ya know. Well the first ford went and bang!!! tanny let go!! Second went to 160. 36 ft and was pukin a lot of white smoke we got on and pulled 207. 68 ft!!! LOL Those guys were very ummm not happy. We were just farm boys playin and they were supposed toknow it all. Oh well!!! :-laf

That's good humor!! I work with alot of Ford PS owners. You're right, they just don't get it.

If you are going to pull you better do your homework and have deep pockets. That all It takes just deep pockets and you can be a winner. I just enjoy sitting there and watching. I have trouble getting the money judt to get IN to the pulls.

I don't know what it is with the brand loyal Ferd boys, they always think they got the baddest truck. A guy at the last pull I went to had a 6. 0 that had lotsa gadgets on it, when he only came in third he was mad and saying he was gonna sell the truck, of course he was just gonna buy a new Ferd. All the Ford boys were handing out advice during the pull, thinking it didn't matter because they were gonna win. Ha Ha, I showed them.

I was at a pull here in Ohio and saw a really nice looking lifted black ferd crew cab sitting near the entrance to where you park. Later while hanging out near the starting line the I saw ferd making it's way over by us where we were parked next to another of Henry's finest. He parks next to us and gets up in his buds truck bed to watch the pulls. I holler over at him and ask how much? He says it's 2001 and he wants $20k. I say nice truck why you selling it. He drops his head a bit a sheepishly say "cause I want a Cummins". All his buds start laughing at him and then the other owner says yeah mine's for sale too. I want a Cummins too. I about fell over laughing but then had to tell him he was a good man admit that in front of all his friends.

I kicked the crap out of a Bully Dog'd Ford PS 6. 0 a while back. About a week later he found me at a gas station and offer to buy my truck. His buddy told me that was all he could talk about that week was how ****** he was about getting beat by a Cummins and that he was going to find it and buy it! :-laf
