When taking a turn at slow speed tonight there was a creaking noise coming from under the front of the truck. I will perform the usual checks and noise tracking, but is there anything specific any of you would recomend to look at first? I have Lukes Links on both outer tie rods, doesn't sound like a shifting track bar (I had that once so I know what that sounded like), gear box leaks fluid. Thanks for any advice.

I had a noise that seemed to be coming from under the front of the truck, only at slow speeds in a turn also, I check everything. After doing a search on past post I came up needed to add more limited slip to the rear , not sure if this will help, Good luck . .

I have a chirping noise I have been trying to track down for about a month now and no luck. Only at slow speeds over bumps or in a right hand turn. It seems to be coming from under the truck on the passenger side and only heard inside the cab. To damn loud outside. :D

It chirps like it is metal making the noise and only over bumps big enough to jar the cab. So I am going to investigate the cab mounts and Westin Ovals next to see if there is anything there.

Kalaehina try checking the rubber mounts for the sway bar and shocks. Sometimes they can creak on you.

I also had a noise every time I would turn left or right, I tried to find the problem. When I had my appointment at the dealer and told them about it they found the torque bushing squeaking and also the steering adjustment intermediate shaft coupling making noise. That seem to fix my problem.

my truck sounds like a Fred Sanford and Sons p/u. Creaky and all.

I have replacement ball joints and a-arm bushings - just have to find the time to replace them.

Look at lubricating the intermediate shaft in the following location:

Find the rubber isolation coupling on the intermediate shaft near the firewall. You'll see a plastic noise isolation ring at the bottom of the coupling assembly. The assembly will be a rubber ring that is riveted to 2 brackets. The lower bracket has this plastic ring that snaps in it before the shaft is riveted to the coupling assembly. Try spraying some lubricant on that ring. I bet the teeth on it are rubbing on the intermediate shaft causing the squeek. If I'm not clear, I can e-mail you a picture of what I'm talking about.

I had a creaking noise, almost like a clunk. I found the shifter linkage had play. I think there is a bulleten from dodge on this. They replaced my whole linkage assembly and the noise was gone!

Jack up the truck lately? Check the lower control arm bushings. I chased down a squek with wheaties on his truck and found that to be the culprit. EXACTLY how you describe too.
