This maybe weird but my truck creaks right after it is parked. It sounds like something with the suspension but sometimes it creaks several minumtes later. it has done that for a long time. Does anyone have knowledge of an issue like that.

My trucks makes creaking sounds also. I always thought it was the exhaust system cooling down. I got rid of the muffler and it doesnt do it as bad as it use to. Either way it doesn't bother me.

I had a guy tell me tha tis how he new I had an 01 Dodge. It doesn't really bother me, I would just like to know that it isn't another issue. Thanks

How old are you?

How old are you? Maybe it's not the truck!

It's just the manifold cooling. It expands when hot then, naturally, contracts as it cools.

My 99 does this as well. I was working under it on day and thought she had sooled off enough untill I heard this POP. Scared the holy you know what out of me #@$%! . After iceing the lump on my head from jumping up and nailing the under body I realized it was just the engine still cooling down. It gets load when your up underneath.
