I bought the cooler line with temp sensor port from Mass Diesel and want to replace the rubber section with something more trustworthy like the line DTT has. The hose is crimped in place and the DTT line looks like it has AN fittings on it. How do I do this?

The crossover tube should have had the factory Mopar rubber line attached. It's just screwed in place and you'll need two wrenches to remove it.

I found a picture someone else had posted, could not figure out how to put it here, so I put it in my reader's rigs gallery, Is this a different line than what everybody else is getting?

That is noth9ing like the factory line. The factory piece is all steel from the trans port to just under the cooler. Then, there is a ruber line attached from the end of the line to the cooler.

I don't know if I really like the line they sold you.

After I installed my Vulcan big line reloction kit and $70. 00 lift pump this afternoon, I got the cooler line and compared it to my original lines and it's not even close to fitting my truck. The only rubber lines mine has is at the air-to-air cooler, nothing rubber around the heat exchanger. I wonder what this line fits because it sure does not look like anything on my truck. When I bought the gauge, it came with a compression union tee for the sending unit but I'm not sure that is a reliable way to put the temp sending unit in the cooler line.
