Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) cruise control/ A/C problems

my cruise control does not work. my a/c does most of the time but sometimes it does not work either. i am fairly sure it is a vacuum problem but not sure where to check or exactly how. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Check the vacuum pipe going to the cruise control motor just below the driver's side battery. Battery acid makes holes in it.
