A friend with an 06 3500 CTD and an 07 1500 gas, are having the same problem. When passing by the local airport with the cruise set, somehow the airport radar shuts off the cruise and throws a code and turns on the check engine light. Once this happens, the cruise will not work untill the code is cleared. Any ideas of what is causing this, or a way to fix it? Any known TSBs?

No fix I bet. The notations on the cruise and door locks. alarmn etc. Is something like other approved signal waves like airports can mess with the operation of items on vehicles but the stuff on the vehicle cannot interfear with them. Big complaint on Caddys was owners finding their trunk lids open in the garage or driveway even the mall and such. Usually the same ones. They were in somthing elses radio signal that affected them. Best advise is DON"T drive by the airport. You can ask a service manager or a tech if good with elect. DRB'S and or any TSB'S but I bet not. See if any TSB's computer updates available other wise thats the way it is.

The cruise in my 07 has cancelled 2 times while running down the interstate. It will resume when you hit the button but has not turned on the check engne light. I have not taken it to the dealer to check out yet. Maybe next oil change.

You know my 03 would do that every now and then. Did for a few years. Hasn't done it for a few years now. Seemed like it was on a same road on a slight down hill side of it. When you hit the other side took a few to realise that your were slowing and had hit resume to get it back. Maybe another signal interfering.
