Sometime back, one of the members offered for sale a device that would smooth out the cruise control for those with modified trucks e. g. larger injectors. I would appreciate responses from any members that bought the device at that time as to how satisfied you are with it. I would appreciate hearing from the designer/inventor if he cares to respond.

Thanks,

Phil

I don't recall seeing a device specifically for the CC smoothing, but it has been posted that the Practical Solutions High Idler has the same effect if you leave it on a lower setting, vs. turning it off like you are supposed to. Instructions with the PS state it should only be used with the vehicle parked and the wheels blocked. By ignoring those instructions, most of us have accepted responsibility for the results. I'd bet pretty good money that about 0% of the users block the wheels before using.

I talked to Gorgon (from Practical Solutions) about this. Running the High Idler while going down the road. He said that it would run like someone castrated  the truck. I havent tried it yet. I have only had it installed for a couple of days.

For smoother CC, I did get the reflash and helped a lot. Matter of fact it fixed it.
