I have a 93 D350 and my cruise dose not work i have power at the fuse but not at the power switch on the steering wheel any one have any ideas?

First off welcome to the TDR!

As for the issue, do you know of you have a crumy wire? Have you taken a multimeter to see if the wore is worn through and grounding somewhere?

I had trouble with mine years ago, and the wires failed near the tilt mechanism under the column. Because I was poor at the time, I pulled the wires out of the column and hooked the remainer of good wire to two toggle switches. Last I knew the cruise switches (with harness) was almost $100. My toggle switches still work. On my dually I plan to do the same thing, and put switches like a big rig.

I know this is simple, but have you checked your brake light switch at the pedal arm? It is the switch that kicks the cruise off, when you hit the brakes. It is a six wire switch and two are dedicated to the cruise control. The switch may be bad and need replacement or possibly adjustment. I just put one in my 86/92 retro. If it is adjustment, you can test, by putting your foot under the pedal and holding it up, while trying the cruise. If it works then, the switch is out of adjustment. May still need replacement if "barbs" are worn and won't hold it forward enough.

Thanks for pointing me the right way I did some checking and found that the part right below the steering wheel that lets the wires turn with the wheel is damaged and the wires inside it are not makeing contact.

Miller has one way of correcting it that works well. The other is replacing the "clockspring" device. They are not cheap. Basically, if you ever work on the steering and disconect the steering shaft, DO NOT let the wheel turn. If it goes more than normal when hooked up, it will break the clockspring.

I talked to the parts guy at the dealer and a new clock spring is 196 dollars so i think i'll check out the junk yards and see if i can find a good one, or fix it Miller's way.

If you get one on/off toggle switch and one momentary 3 position toggle, then you can wire it up just like a OTR truck. On/Off switch basically turns the cruise control on and off. The three position momentary, will allow you a momentary position to set cuise, and one position for resume. You just need the wiring schematic to wire it up correctly. If you want to get real fancy you can get cruise control switches for a fancy Peterbilt, with engraving and such. Or you can do it super cheap and simple with plain switches.
