Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cruise control engine noise

Why does the engine sound different when it's in cruise control? Mine sounds like the timing has been retarded when the cruise control locks on. DW

I wandered that about mine too.



Looked into this one cause i thought you might be talking about the &^%$# throttle pedal vibrating. Sometimes that realy bothers me, so I gotta turn up the radio instead of litening to the sirene of my turbo.



The make a mod for the cable, but i havent gone to the dealer to get one.....
