A friend of mine had his auto replaced with a NV-5600 recently. (97 12V 4x4) The replacement went well and everything seems to be working, except the cruise control.
Has anyone else who has had this conversion done had problems with the cruise control afterwards. If you did; what had to be done to resolve the problem. The Speedometer is working correctly, so the speed sensor is providing proper input to the PCM. The stoplight switch has been checked and adjusted per the service manual, so power is being provided to the servo. We suspect there might be something that has to be jumpered in the old wiring harness from the auto transmission. By all indications, it should be working but we are stumped.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Our next attempt to resolve it will be going thru the servo tests, if we can get the
&%$@ connector off
Thanks in advance ,
Frank
