I have a 1993 w250 4x4 5 speed that has a sudden cruice control problem. When I turn the switch on and hit the set button, sometimes it will come on, and sometimes not. It will work for a while then stop. Vacuum seems strong, brake peddle takes positive pressure before lights come on. Any suggestions? I suspect the switches on the steering wheel. If so, where can I get a replacement. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks guys. maggies man.

The other thing that might be the issue is the cruise control regulator under the hood, when i get time tonight i will post the trouble shooting process from the shop manual

To test your switch disconnect the plug under the steering wheel and with a volt meter check for continuity at the pins,
Switch Position Continuity between
OFF Pin 1 and Pin 4

On Pin 1 and Pin 4
Pin 1 and Pin 2
Pin 2 and Pin 4

On and Set Pin 1 and Pin 2

On and Resume Pin 1 and Pin 3

Check your vacuum supply as well there should be 10in of mercury at the cruise servo

When looking at the plug with the male pins, they are number left to right with the plug lock clip on top
