cruise control problems

I need your guy's help. I got a 2006 3500 5. 9 six speed. My cruise control has started acting up. When I'm driving down the road my cruise light will flash on and off. Also when I don't have my cruise set or even turned on the light will come on and my cruise with engage all by its self. I do have a triple bully dog program in it and it does throw a code PO580 which is a cruse controll malfunction. What could it be and how can I fix it?
